Dalfys project takes off!

With a remote meeting held on May 2021 the 11th, the project Dalfys finally started! Funded by Erasmus+ Programme and with a consortium of 8 partners coordinated by the Italian secondary school ITET “Girolamo Caruso”, the project aims at developing DAta Literacy competences For Young students towards STEAM education.

The Consortium is composed by 4 secondary schools: ITET Girolamo Caruso (coordinator, Italy), Siauliu Didzdvario Gymnasium (Lithuania), Liceul Tehnologic Costache Conachi (Romania), TED Bursa College (Turkey). Toghether with the accredited teacher training center DC Edukacja (Poland), the schools will define a common reference system and will create courses based on data literacy compentecens, to be piloted into their classrooms.

The whole educational process will be oversight by Institute of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy, that together with the two SMEs Dataninja (Italy) and Bupnet (Germany) have a strong background and experiences thanks to previous R&D projects focused on innovative data literacy learning paths.

The project duration is 24 months and now all partners are working on the first task, focused on mapping existing data literacy projects in their national contexts and in other European countries. Let’s stay updated with the projects achievements through this News section in this website.
